Remote Oil Filter

I have been looking for a remote oil filter system for a 2003 4.3L Merc. I have not had any luck but the dealer . Do you know of where to get one, will and auto remote filter work and if so for what motor? <br />Thanks for you help!

the 4.3L is a GM product. In most any vehicle they had that engine in, the filter was remote from the factory. You shouldn't have much trouble finding one at any high performance auto parts store. Good luck!

any that will fit small block v8 of same vintage should work. 4.3 is 350 with 2 cyl lopped off.

Checked with dealer Merc. remote oil filter $250.00<br />Checked with performance auto store compleat kit $55.00. <br />Take a wild guess at what I will be doing this weekend
