Anybody have a part number and/or availability of a waterproof remote tilt switch like they are using on the newer boats?

I want to add one to my boat that has a Volvo sterndrive so I can tilt the drive from the rear of the boat while it is on the trailer.

You can also go on ebay and do a search for Momentary on/off/on toggle style switches. They have some marine switches that are similar to the ones found on the new rigs...

You said newer type, if you have something specific in mind I do not know. If not, a momentary, three position, spring return to center off toggle switch with a rubber sealing boot over the toggle works fine. It's common and cheap (probably $15.00 for both) Home Depot might have them, if not any electronics store for sure.

Re: Remote Sterndrive Tilt Switch

I want the one that is being used on trhe newer boats. It is very low profile and is push operated. It will be in the swimstep area and needs to be resistant to being acidentally activated. A toggle type switch would not meet my requirements.

The one on Iboats is similar to what i want but the ones I have seen are lower profile/

Thanks for the help. I have been looking too. I can't even find a picture of one.
