I am in the middle of replacing the NFB teleflex cables when I determine that I have to remove the engine to install the steering cables. The engine is a 2000 150 Yamaha HPDI. I have removed the engine cow but I can not find where I need to install an eyebolt or lifting pads to remove the engine.,
I do not have a maintenance manual. Is there a manual similar to the Chilton's for car for boats. Yamaha is asking $90 for the maintenance manual.,:)

You may need a lifting ring that bolts to the fly wheel for that model.
Search around a bit there should be posts on that.

Do a web search for Yamaha marine manuals and you will find different manuals
