There is a hub cap like piece over the center. This can be pryed-out like a hub cap, unless they glue it in. Sometimes, when you remove these caps, the tabs that click-into the recess of the wheel hub, break-off, or fatigue. Since they are plastic, some folks will glue them back on. This is just fine...As long as you never intend to go back there someday. My brother did this on My 89 Bayliner when it was his boat...He got tired of the cap ending-up in the bilge. So he glued it in. I had to get the helm out, and it wasn't fun.<br />Provided yours doesn't have a horn there, you should be able to get under the lip of it with a screwdriver,and pry it out like a hub cap.<br />Good luck
