remove gimbal housing studs?

Hi, I need to remove some corroded gimbal housing studs (the four lower studs for a Alpha one Gen II) -- new ones are en route. Anything I need to do to pull them other than give them a good soak with PB Blaster? I really don't want to mess up the gimbal housing, so if anyone has any tips for easy removal, I'm all ears... er... eyes!

Thanks,
Jim

Ayuh,... Just double nut 'em, 'n run 'em out....

An Impact helps, but not necessary...

OK, thanks, I'll give it a shot.

What about installing the new ones; same thing in reverse? Any threadlocker needed?

Just for safety I'd put a bit of Loctite 222 on them.

If the old ones are really tight, try heating them up to break the seal.

Thanks, they came out with just a little "encouragement." I was just a bit paranoid about snapping one after I broke a lag screw in the motor mount when pulling the engine last Fall.
