hi everyone, i have and 89 85hp force and i removed the pivot screw while changing my oil, just not paying attention, ive changed the oil many times, and i played around with the shift linkage and got the pivot screw back in but how do I know if I got it back in right??
i ripped apart the lower unit and can barely see anything down the little hole where the pivot screw is supposed to go, should i take off the prop and go in that way? i thought i had the pivot screw back in right but it was real hard to put into reverse and would not go into forward. someone please help!!!
