I currently have a 454 with a 2 piece rear main in my 1988 chris craft 245 with bravo 1

I have a 454 out of a truck but it has a 1 piece rear main. Correct me if I were to build the truck motor into a 496 and do a swap this winter the only 2 parts I would need to buy to perform the swap is the coupler & flexplate because I cant use the 2 piece coupler or flexplate that is currently in the boat with a 1 piece rear main correct?

I believe the current flex plate is the standard 168 tooth or is it smaller?

I just want to get an idea of what I will need ahead of time to see if I still want to consider the swap...

Ayuh,..... Boat motor run Flywheels,.... Flex-plates are for cars with automatic transmissions,.....

I would guess both motors are 168 tooth flywheel ready, the starter bolt pattern determines which diameter,....

The Bravo coupler should bolt right onto either 14" flywheel, regardless it's center bolt pattern, the outer bolt pattern is the same,...

So,.... If both blocks are drilled, 'n tapped for the staggered bolt pattern starter,.....
All ya should need is the 14" Flywheel, for the 1 pc. seal block,...
