Removing a frozen shaft out of my powerhead

I have a 1987 120 V-4 looper powerhead that has the drive shaft frozen into it.
I've pulled a few lower units in my day, but this one just will not come apart!!!

The mid section or exhaust housing was shot so I cut a hole into the side of it and cut the shaft off just to seperate it from the powerhead.

I have the power head hanging upside down from the drive shaft and sprayed rust buster into the shaft/crank, tried heating it with a torch, even threaded the end of the driveshaft to have something to beat on with a hammer but NO DICE!!

Any suggestions besides opening the block and replacing the crank shaft?

Maybe a special puller the I am unaware of?

Saw this done once: motor upside down, driveshaft cut off about 1" "taller" than the midsection, threaded driveshaft to about 1" below the midsection, put large metal plate w/ hole drilled in it over driveshaft (flat to midsection), threaded washers and nut down to plate and started tightening until the driveshaft pulled out.

Good Luck!

If you can get it out look at the splines real close. More often than not the splines in the crank are badly worn or twisted.
