Removing bellows from Riser?

So to remove the upper bellows from the riser there are two hose clamps on the upper bellows...i loosened them but its still pretty hard(I haven't applied much force yet). How much force does it take to seperate the riser from the bellows after loosening those hose clamps?

These get stuck on because the cast iron rusts underneath the rubber. I use a long thin screwdriver to pry it loose spray some silicone spray in the gap and let it work a bit; it can take a while. If you are going to remove the exhaust elbows to check them for corrosion drain the water out of the manifolds first.

use a small screw driver as Lou mentions or use a hose pick.
