I have tried a search and cannot find info on dropping the lower end of my 1993 90hp to replace the impeller. I also own the repair book but cannot seem to follow it very well. It was replace professionally in 2001, so hopeuflly stuff is not frozen. I have removed the 4 bolts. There is a nut underneath, right above the prop. Does this have to come off too? It seems to be a really weird size, as the 5/8 or 9/16 will not work. Does the shifter need to be removed?<br /><br />Should it drop right off? I have beat it some with a rubber hammer. I am sure once I do it once, it will be easy.
