Oil Injection

My oil tank, oil lines and fittings all seem to leak a little. It creates an unpleasant mess and of course will pollute if I do not keep contained.

I have heard of people removing the oil injection system entirely for a variety of reasons. Including peace-of-mind with pre-mix.

What needs to be done to safely remove and diable the injection system?

all you need to do is take the oil pump off, there is a gear that make the oil pump work, simply remove this gear and put the oil pump back on, then plug the main oil line coming out the oil reservoir and there you go, mix your fuel 50:1 ..... if you want you can remove the oil reservoir and unplug the oil level sensor, but it is not necessary ......

The tank leaks pretty bad. So I would want to eliminate it. Will there be any problems disconnecting the sensor?

Where is the sensor located?

Where is the pump located?
