I'm having some trouble removing old gasket. I use a razorblade for cleaning induction cooktop (very carefully of course) and also I have tried a gasket remover but there are still some left. I need tips on what other stuff I can use, sandpaper? Also how clean is it supposed to be before applying the new gaskets?

DrDim, I usually use a razor blade scraper and follow that up with a 2" Scotch Bright disk on my pneumatic 1/4" angle grinder. It removes the gasket material near instantly and not really doing anything to the surface if you use it carefully. Works for me... JMHO!
