i need to remove some painted graphics from the hull of my new boat. i'm hopeful the last owner did not sand the gelcoat before painting. assuming that is the case, what is the best way to proceed. i was thinking of just trying paint thinner. i don't want to jump right into compound, as i have this fear of smearing the paint into the gelcoat and ruining it forever. i'd rather take baby steps. thanks-
