I am trying to replace my steering arms and to do so I need to remove the power head from the lower unit. According to the manual I remove the six side nuts and two back bolts and lift off the head. My problem is the head won't budge. Looks like the stud holes are full of corrosion. Any suggestions or tricks to get them apart?
Well I got the studs out with jam nuts and a LOT of force! will be digging into the lower unit next and hoping the nuts and bolts that hold the lower unit on will cooperate. They don't look like there is much left of them.
