removing throttle control

I did a search for this and didn't find anything. I have a single side mount throttle control on my '91 Prowler. How do I get inside to check the throttle/shift connections? There are 2 screws on the ouside panel and 2 screws on the inside of the throttle control arm. One you can get to, the other you can't. The only other thing I can think of is the neutral lock-out button, but all it does is turn. I do not know what brand of throttle control it is, but it does look something like the Morse SI here on iboats, except it has chrome trim down the middle of the arm. blt

Re: removing throttle control

I don't have my boat handy, so I can't get a picture. But, if you do a part search here on iboats.com for throttle control, it will bring it Morse SI side mount throttle control. The one on my boat looks very similar to this...except for the chrome strip down the center. I've removed all the screws on the side mount panel but still can't get the thing off. I wouldn't think it would be that difficult, but it sure has me stumped.<br />blt
