hi, i have a 14 foot jon that is worth its weight in gold... anyway.. if one crashes in a fiberglass boat, i understand how to repair that, but ive never had to , or gotten to see how you repair a hole, if one ever happened, in a aluminum hull...im guessing taking it to your local welding shop and they could fix just about anything... or is there some easy do it your self trick.. i dont have a hole, and dont want one, but im getting another aluminum boat and would like to know hot to repair them myself, if possible, and thanks for ANY input ! :p

Small holes can be patched by plugging the hole with a bolt and some sealer.

I've seen them patched with JBWeld, sheetmetal screws, sealer and pop-rivets, caulking, and another piece of alum welded over the top.

If damage is bad enough, or if cosmetics are a concern, then you have to do it the right way.
