Repair hole with window???

Had the misfortune of hitting the corner of a dock with my 2002 sea ray 220 sundeck leaving a hole and splintering less than a 5 inch circle. It did not hit anything inside and it right in the head. It is about 8 inches to an upright support. What about if I put a porthole type window in the hole? The bigger boats have one there. It would bring much needed light in. Thank You RR

I don't see why not- as long as it's well above the waterline.
Post a picture of the damage if you can.

Put more thought into this---If the dock put a hole what would it do to a window? Never mind. Will have to read more on repairing the hole. I ordered the gel coat.
