What is the best way to repair a leak just under the rub strake? Its not got 30mm either side of hole so didnt think a normal patch would suit?

Best will be to remove rub strake's leak area and apply an internal patch if leaks badly, then re glue rub strake back on. Post pics of troubled area if possible..

Re: Repair leak under rub strake?

i ended up patching over lapping the bottom of the strake (the bit thats nearly flat to the pontoon) and 40mm of the pontoon and about 80mm wide. i realise its not ideal as there is a 1mm difference between the pvc and the rubber pontoon, but i pressed it in made sure there was enough glue in this area. so far so good, ill do it differently next time. somebody mentioned because the leak is only a pinhole i could have just used the bonding glue to seal it, not sure how effective that would have been.
