Hello this is my first post to this board. I recently purchased my first boat. it is used but in decent condition (at least that is what the survey basically said :) ) . One part that is sun damaged is the soft foam dashboard over the passenger glovebox. I'm going to try to see if I can purchase that part but if it is no longer available I was wondering if there is a way to repair it.

Welcome to iBoats!

That's a pretty basic vinyl repair. You could do DIY it or take it to an upholstery shop. I doubt you'll find a replacement for it.

Just from the picture, it looks like an add-on piece that should be removable (screws from the back?). Once off, you may be able to recover it by wrapping new vinyl right over top of what is there. - Grandad

Marine vinyl comes as straight vinyl and also with foam underlay attached. If the dash pad is meant to be padded, then try and get the latter
