I cannot access the top part of the hull for this repair since the transom is glued in there. This is about a 4 to 5 inch horizontal gash in the hull that pierced completely through the gelcoat and keel. Now, i can't get to it from the inside for a repair, so what is the best repair i can make on the outside of the hull to ensure a sealed repair. I really don't want a wet transom since i just completed my rebuild on my 78' Glastron bowrider. Any help would be great.
the hole cannot be seen in this pic but it is on the right side of the bilge hole in the unpainted section in the back 2" of the hull.
