repairing or taking carb out of 15 horse yamaha 2stroke

My husband would like instruction on how to take a carb off his 15 horse yamaha 2stroke, 1989 motor and put a new kit in. Can anyone give me a website that would have this information online.

Your husband needs a Service Manual and should not mess with his engine without one, Tammie.<br /><br />You can get aftermarket manuals here: http://www.boatmotors.com/manuals.html <br /><br />Or the recommended OEM Manual from your yamaha dealer.<br /><br />Good luck.

ill second JB.<br /> get a manual so we can talk him through it. has he ever done carb work before and does he understand how and why a carb works ?
