Replace Carter AFB electric choke with cheapy?

I have a 1984 Mercruiser 260 with a Carter AFB. I just got it rebuild and the guy ended up crushing the plastic cover on the electric choke.

I started looking online, and ebay seems to have a bunch for < 20 bucks that LOOK the same. But I can't find an exact part searching for CARTER AFB Electric Choke Cover. It seems Edelbrock has one that also looks the same but is 33.00.

So me questions: Is there any special "marine" electric choke. Can I just get the one off ebay? Or should I get something more special.

Thanks in advance. Can't wait to get out boating!

Also Edlebrock makes the Carter AFB under licence and have for years. All Edlebrocks are AFBs. If you paid to have the carb rebuilt, guess who should be looking for a new choke?

I found the Mercruiser version-part #809066, it seems. Which cost over 100.00. Your saying don't bother?

thanks for the feedback.
