Did it last weekend.<br />Rented a slide hammer from Autozone which came with a 3 jaw puller. It didn't work at first but that was because the "jaws" on the puller were all worn and rounded off. I took a file to each jaw and put a nice 90 on them and it popped out in about 5 slides of the hammer.<br /><br />To install the new one I just used a piece of 3" PVC pipe with a 2x4 over the end.<br /><br />I used this as a guide -<br /> http://www.mercstuff.com/gimbalbearing.htm <br /><br />You'll want to have an alignment tool to make sure it's aligned before you put the drive back on.
