Replace motor mount

My starboard exhaust developed a leak at one point in the past and dripped on my motor mount resulting in severely rusted threads...which means I can't adjust the motor angle. So I want to replace the mount bolt and nuts without going through the pain of pulling the motor. My thought was removing the exhaust elbow (for easier access) but leaving the exhaust manifold in place. Then place a bottle jack on the stringer to apply upward pressure to the bottom of the exhaust manifold ultimately supporting the weight of the engine on that side. Then unbolt the mount from the stringer and the engine and pull it out, then replace the bolt, nuts and washers, then reverse that for installation...then align the motor. Any thoughts on that process or anyone have an easier way to do it?
