I accidently broke the neutral switch while replacing oil filter. I ordered a new one and have never changed one before. How do I connect it to the engine control unit ? Can the cover to the ecu be taken off or should I just splice the wires? The motor is 2002 70hp four stroke model number J70PL4SN.
