Hi,
I have a 99 Yamaha Vmax P150TLRX
Will not trim down with the remote when engine is turned hard to the starboard side. (only in this position)
Trim switch at the engine works at all times.
I have determined it to be in the cable inside the flex hose between the engine and the boat hull. Can hold the switch and twist flex hose and will work.
Intermittent open
Haven't torn into it yet but it looks like it is going to be a bear to disconnect all the various electric and fuel, oil lines at the engine and thread them back thru the flex hose.
Any tricks or advise appreciated.
