Replace seat in starcraft

Hey everyone. I just got a 1980 Starcraft SuperSport 181 (my first boat). The hull, and the I/O seem to be in awesome condition, but the interior was all rotted. All of the seats, floor, and foam have been gutted this last weekend. My original idea for the driver seat was to put a swivel pedestal chair in, and another for the main passenger seat, but from my researching, about half of the articles/forums say not to use for this purpose, while others say that it is fine. any ideas?

It's no problem using pedestal seats, they just have to be rated for the helm and speeds over 5mph. Like these from Iboats http://www.iboats.com/Wise-Fixed-Hei...view_id.375740
