the speedometer pickup on my boat's transom is broken. the speedometer cable is okay it seems, but the nipple that the cable goes over on the pickup is broken and stuck in the cable. <br /><br />I plan on replacing the pickup with one from iboats.com website, and i was wondering if i removed the broken nipple piece from the cable, the cable should be in working order, correct? <br /><br />also, is there a special caulk i should use around the pickup to keep water outta the boat? I am dying to see how fast my boat goes !!!!!
