The end of last summer i bought a factory repair manual and rebuilt my carburetors with a full rebuild kit, even new floats. A few days ago replaced the impeller, the kit even came with a new top housing. Everything I've done is working the way it should
My Tach seems to be off and noticed my battery volts (using my meter) would only be around 12.7 volts while the motor was running and 12.4 volts while the motor was stopped.
According to what I've learned on this Forum, a possible fix would be to change the rectifier. I ordered a new one and installed it today. With the motor not started the battery was reading 12.4 volts. I started the motor and it was reading 13.8 volts at around 1800 RPM. I have been wondering why there wasn't much change to volts on the battery when the motor was running and when it wasn't. So it was the rectifier
