Replaced starter....now turns over but wont crank & no gauges working?

Had to pull starter to remove broken bolts & replaced it, now no gauges are working though engine turns over but wont crank fully??? I've tried every rewiring on starter just in case that was the problem. Getting gas in carb & and a good spark. Any ideas that may help would be greatly appreciated! 2003 Glastron Volva Penta 3.0

No gauges could be a blown fuse maybe a wire touched a ground......... since you have fuel and spark I would pull the starter and make sure it is not rotating opposite of what you need.
