replacement alternator for aq151

Hey guys,

my alternator is done for, I am looking for a decently priced unit. I still need to get the boat running but I am definitely going to need a new alternator once I get it running.

Take your alternator to your local starter/alternator/electric motor shop. You keep your original alt. and the wiring stays the same. I'ts also cheaper, in most cases, than any of the cheap aftermarket off shore junk you can buy.

Does it matter that its severly rusted? Everything besides the copper coil is rusted, my father in law said he replaced it 2 years ago. So i assume its a piece of junk since he said it didnt cost much and its rusted so badly.
