Replacement Fusebox?

Hello Everyone,

I need to replace the fusebox on my 1997 Bayliner 2052 due to corrosion. I have seen a variety of fuse boxes available at West Marine and online, but I am unsure specifically what I require.

Below is a link to a picture of my fusebox, can anyone make any recommendations as to what I should be looking for?

It would appear you don't actually need a new panel. Just clean up the connections. Head to a hardware store and buy a small brass bristle brush. Remove one connection at a time and clean the terminals thoroughly. Reattach. Repeat for the other connections. I mention doing one terminal at a time so you don't create more problems if you disconnected all of them and then screwed up the reattachment process. Remove and reinsert the fuses several times to burnish the contacts.

Absolutely right, Silvertip.

Before I would replace the fuse panel, I would do just what you said. Cleaning up fixes a high percentage of basic electrical problems.
