I have a 30 year old boat on a 30 year old roller trailer. My grandfather bought it new and to the best of my knowledge all the wobble rollers are original. I want to replace the original black 4? rollers but I have two points of concern.
1). Is there any problem replacing the original 4? wobble rollers with 5? ribbed non-maring rollers? I notice these are much harder than replacement black rubber rollers.
2). There is a 1.5? metal tube spacer that moves the roller further out on the roller shaft (it is not a bushing). Do I need to reinstall this or is the roller fine without it?
