Replacing a Sea Ray potty

I'm coming close to my purchase decision. Two identical 86 Sea Ray Cuddy?s, 22 feet long, with the potty under the seat. One has a missing potty. Are these cheap to replace?

It would seem to me to be a flourishing market for stuff like that, used.

Both have a waste flush out on the starboard bow. Should I assume there?s a holding tank between the potty and flush out?

probably not, the potty could have a built in tank, pull the mfgs name off of the potty with no lid and call the with serial number to find out about lid availability.

Re: Replacing a Sea Ray potty

I must have poorly worded my question. On one boat, the entire potty is missing. The only thing I see are the two plastic tubes leading toward the bow.

One tube I assume is for vent. One for waste.

I was trying to get an idea of price for replacing an entire toilet.

A basic porta-potty can be had for under $100. Look for one that has the connections for the pump out hoses.

They are NOT cheap. When i was at a boat junk yard I found a couple of them USED, (some nasty as s:eek::eek:t) and the prices are unbelievable . Luckily I don't need to buy one. Anyway, thought i'd let you know.

SeaVue and Bekosh"

Talk about diametrically opposed opinions. Sounds like you two are saying, "they give 'em away free but it'll cost you an arm and a leg!"

It depends on what you want.
Basic porta-potty that you have to carry out and dump is around $100.
Full blown china electric head with holding tank, around $1200.

You can find porta-potties that have the connections for the pumpout for about $150. I believe that this is what you would need.
