I replaced my head and now am putting the exhaust manifold back on. I bought a replacement gasket online that fits the manifold but I am not sure if I should apply sealant or put on dry. It is a Sierra part # 18-2912 gasket made from "CMP-4000" material green in color. I looked everywhere online but could not figure out if this gasket should go on dry or if I should use gasket sealant.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.
