my family bought a pontoon boat for a pretty reasonable price. Had the engine checked out and it is in amazing shape. The everything else isn't. My parents bought an entire seat set from overtons as well as a new helm. I am having trouble assessing how to disconnect and route the shift and throttle linkage. My first thought was to disconnect it all from the engine and run it through. After looking at how many adjustments there are this is not the route I want to take. I am assuming I can disassemble the control box, make the hole in the side of the helm, route the cables through and reassemble. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will asap. I am trying to get this all done by Friday.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Ya talkin' 'bout the steerin' cable, or the control's cables,..??..??

Controller cables, 'n the helm, really havin' nothin' in common,....

Either way, Ya, disconnect from the aft, 'n pull 'em forward,....

New cables are run from forward, to aft, then hook up to the motor or tiller, whichever We're talkin' 'bout,.....
