The driveshaft splines should be greased.<br />The end of the driveshaft should not be greased, or the shaft will not fully seat.<br /><br />"do I lubrucate the housing"<br /><br />The waterpump housing? You can lubricate it with dishsoap or a little grease to help with getting the impeller in.
