hello all, i have 1990 wellcraft 196. about three years ago i had a soft spot in the deck and before the day was out i had the complete deck ripped out. the stringers were roten and i pulled out all the sopping wet foam, did everything over in the boat that was wood 100% and used epoxy resin and glass. i dont know why but i never replaced the motor mounts even though i was sure they were bad to, well this year i reached behind the mount and it was missing a piece of fiberglass so i reached backed there and started to pull out rotted wood after i got it out i filled it with concrete just to get me by this summer and so far it is working. the allignment is still good, after all this talking here my question is when i start putting the new blocking in how do i attach it to the hull its right next to the stringer do i screw and epoxy it to the existing stringer or what gonna use 2x pressure treated wood and glass over it. any help would be great cant do photos dont have camera, thanks in advance.
