Replacing Motorguide Brushes

Info On Changing Brushes.trolling Motor Seems To Be Losing Power/also After About 5 Minutes Of Continual Use ,motor Stops,let It Set For Minute Runs A Little More Does The Same Thing.but I Can Use It All Day When I Am Just Using It To Keep Off The Bank While Fishing.any Help Would Be Appreciated

I know this is no help to you but I am in need of replacing my trolling motor brushes. If anyone has any information or links to some videos or directions I would appreciate it also. Where can you purchase these brush kits.....do you need to replace the seal once you have open the unit......any help...I can;t seem to find any either......good luck

your brushes wil need to be soldered in

you shoud replace the seals

I think i have the same problem. What do the Brushes do? I have no clue.
