The pontoon has a old Maxxima (by Pancor) model CsC-600hp-x in it ,an old cassette deck. Which works for me as I have a lot of music on cassettes but unfortunately it doesn't work. So she got a CD player one from West Marine.
This old one has them pin block connectors (I can't think of what they are actually called) that you plug into each other.
The new one does not. Just hanging wires. So planned on butt connecting the old wires to the new and use the block connectors. However there are some differences on the two that I am not sure of and before I blow up something need some direction. It may just be the wording used but rather not fubar or start a fire yet.
A internet search did not find a manual for the old Maxxima and the docs with the new one are basic.

The new one says
Red Ignition 12+
Yellow Battery12+
Black Chasis ground
Dark Blue Remote Turn on (not sure about this - the little remote that came with it or some other remote hookup ??)

The old Maxxima has a label stating wiring is
Red+ (which has a coil inside a black connector. Not sure if this is needed still either.)
Black Ground

but there are two other wires with no labels or wording for. A orange one and a whiteish pink ) probably faded so true color unknown) image attached.

So I am not quite sure which wires to butt together here I am assuming the two reds. But as for the rest not sure what should go were.

Any help appreciated. Wife will not be happy I blow or ruin stuff before we go out for the first time.
Thanks
Mark
