Bob, Are you talking about the old style plastic coated cable and pully steering system? The old Johnnyrude quick connects had a center knob that you could push in and turn to release the fitting from the front handle of the motor. They had nothing to do with the tilt tube.
hi i was wondering if any1 new how to get the old tilt tube and quick connect off of the old steering cable so i could use it on the new 1,and possibly how to attach it 2 the new cable.thanx Bob
