I have a 1989 175 Mariner outboard serial c127467 with the tilt and trim not working. I jumped the motor to the battery and nothing. So I need to replace the motor. From my research, I don't believe they make a replacement motor anymore but have to buy the motor and pump combined from ARCO. I just wanted to know if this is the case and I can't just replace the motor.<br /><br />Also any suggestions, hints or advice would be greatly appreciated. I loosened all of the bolts on the starboard side bracket.(the top transom bolt was a doosey) Supposedly the motor will be ok on just the lock. Probably will tie a rope around it just in case.
