Simple Question.... Currently running twin inline 4 cyl gm 181 cid, 140 hp sterndrive mercruisers. Can the outdrives accept, without modification, a 6 cyl gm marine engine and if so what is my best choice? would it be worth the upgrade?
Im looking for something that will give me a bit more "umph" , still give good fuel economy, but hook up directly to my existing outdrive without a bunch of grief and adapters.

Second that 250, just make sure you have the extra foot in front of the engines.
