Rering my 3.0 gotta question

Im about to install some new rings on my pistons -I ordered a ring set from the store and the new ones are from sierra. The originals have a a little different design to the oil ring than the oem. The oem ones have some type of wire in them . Should i be concerned? The sierra has no wire.

Oil rings are typically three pieces. Two, flat, oil rings and another piece that separates the two rings in the ring groove. The shape and design of that spacer is of no importance but it has to be there if the three piece design is used.

well its a sierra like isaid and it has the top rail bottom rail and squigglly middle spacer for the oil ring ,so I guess Im good.
