resivour plug leaks

My tilt/trim plug leaks,is it the o-ring inside?Is it a matter of just replacing? I read here someplace that the screw doesn't just come out ,that there is a snap ring or something.any help is great.

The reservoir fill plug screw is simply that, a screw with a O Ring seal. Replace the O ring.

The snap ring you mention pertains to the manual release valve.
