Restoration book?

I am wanting to find some kind of restoration manual to aid in the replacement of my deck,stringers, and transom. For my 79 viking io. Can someone tell me which one is the best for the first timer?

the share a proj td gave you is very good.

also hit search and start reading.......i read for two months before i started...

i also bought a book! two of em to be exact!....

one is called runabout renovation...by jim anderson......a grade 5 read....i found it very helpful.....the detail he lacks you can get here...

he takes you on a total renovation....stringers...floor...foam...transom...live well addition bilge and battery addition...as well as pain and upolstrey.

the other is called the fiberglass repair manual...im sorry i cant remember the author.....it is a very detailed manual on glass repair......

bolth avalible from amazon......

whatever you need after you read these two....8 times.....just ask here.

that first book td posted was the second book i was talking about.

its really good.....however...its a boring read...like a tech manual.....gut fantastic information.......

if you can order it off i boats....id do it in a heartbeat
