Hi There,
I purchased a 1999 Chris Craft 260 Deck Boat.:D
It came with the original snap on cover made of sunbrella (it has tags that say it). However this cover has lost it water repellant properties, as it rained, the boat was all wet... is there any product that I can treat this cover with to restore its water repellant properties?
I am trying to save the cost of buying a brand new cover, as this one is in good shape.
Thanks for the advise!

Yep several waterproofers. I always used the one sold at WalMArt with an orange lid. Others use other brands. Like 303 or something or other.

Get the cover CLEAN before you apply anything though. But don't use a harsh detergent on it.

Yes, as stated above, clean it good first, let it dry completely, I like the 303 since it is recommended buy the manufacturer, you can get it here: http://www.iboats.com/303-High-Tech...52084547--session_id.511769810--view_id.39565 . I would get the larger container and a small cheap garden sprayer, find a place out of the wind, lay it out and spray it on per the directions. Not saying others will not work, I just use 303.

Major +1 on the pump sprayer. I did a full cover for a 22ft ski boat with the spray bottle and man did my hands hurt!!!!

I used the 303. Good stuff. Recommended by Sunbrella.

Scrub the cover with Woolite. It doesn't leave soap residue like many other brands. Rinse well let dry and apply 303 Fabric Protectant.

Yes. A mild soap vs. detergent. 105 deg water. Air dry. Apply "303 High Tech Fabric Guard" liberally. Carry on.
