Does anyone out there have a clue what the typical (more-or-less) retail markup is on inflatables? I'm trying to negotiate a deal on one and would like to know what the dealer is working with. I've heard with normal boats it's somewhere around 28% but don't know if an inflatable would be more or less than that. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums

I would say that margin profit will be at the sole retailler's discretion, whatever % he wants to add to make a profitable business, inflatables are usually sold once to each new owner, are not masive low margin products that can be compensated selling large quantities. Also would depend if inflatables are manufactured in USA, Europe or Asian contries and quantities that each dealer buys so to negotiate a better price.

Make a hostile recession deal and see what happens...:D
