i have a 40hp esg 1988 yamaha i started bogging down at full throttle if i back up on the throttle it runs but i have to back off pretty far im about to check my carbs if i back off on thee throttle then wait 20 seconds the give it full throttle it res up for a minute the rpms go back down {note this motor was flooded in hurricane catrina} but it has been running great till now and only the bottum cylender got water in it i am in the process of ordering and new key switch and i new solenoid and i found one more part that had some corrosoin on it and i know it was sitting in water and it is the rectifier any info will help
