rev up

[samesame]

when start up engine it seem to me that it is wide open. what could i be doing wrong? when i start it up i prime and choke it a couple of times, am i putting to much gas in the carb. the motor is 1970 evinrude 85hp ob.

Sounds like the throttle is sticking open.<br /><br />Peak inside the carbs and see if the throttle plates are open at idle.<br /><br />TMD
